Workout routine

What is your workout routine?

Just getting back into working out. I misssssssed it!

I prefer working out outside. I loved going to Astoria Park and running around the park, and up and down the stairs. Then doing workout exercises...legs/dips/abs at the stations around the track.

I also love classes at Lucille. Zumba, toning classes, cardio boot type classes.

You girls?

Re: Workout routine

I do Pilates at least once a week, sometimes twice.

Bellydancing on Wednesday nights.

I'm so glad the weather is getting nicer, because that means I'm no longer running on the stupid treadmill.

Usually I do about 30 minutes of cardio (elliptical and running) followed by 20 minutes or more of strength training...mostly upper body. My legs are WAY strong so I don't put as much focus on them.

I have to try Pilates. Also, want to try hot yoga. There is one by my house on Woodhaven Blvd.

The one by 7-11? I've been wanting to go but am so damn busy (wedding shiz ) and I'm afraid I will fart really loudly and will not control my laughter.

I hired a PT! When I run I do interval training for 45 minutes. With her I do different stuff .. today was biceps, triceps, back and abs.

Re: Workout routine

I go to the gym about 4 days a week. Everytime I go I do about 45 min of cardio (20 min on the bike, then 25 min on either the elliptical or the treadmill). Every time I go I work my abs and do strengthening exercises for my knee (I have a crappy knee), then I alternate days for lifting and squats/lunges. Usually I am there for about 2 hours or so...

hahhahaha

It's 20 for the first time and you can go unlimited for a week. But after that it's expensive! I have no time too.

Re: Workout routine

I'm a workout-a-holic. I work out 5-6 times a week, alternating cardio with strength/cardio days. My routine however needs to be shaken up a bit b/c its boring now.

Re: Workout routine

I do Zumba twice a week. and work out at the gym 3 days a week. at the gym I try to do 30 min on the elliptical and then 20 min of weights then 10 min on the treadmill walking.
i take weekends off but in the summer i love to go hiking on the weekends so i guess that counts as work out.

Re: Workout routine

I go to the gym 3-5 days a week and do 60 minutes cardio on the elliptical with varying degrees of intensity every 2 minutes. Then I do weight training at home focusing on abs & upper body since my legs get a good workout from the elliptical. I go to hot yoga 1-2 times a week - if I miss a day at the gym, I'll go 2 times, or I'll go once to hot yoga and more time at the gym. Basically I do 4-5 days between the two. Throwing in a kickboxing class at the gym starting this week so we'll see how that goes! But I've lost 10 pounds since I started March 1st and I notice the weight is coming off more with more hot yoga vs. more gym time.
