World's worse excuse for a 'no'

World's worse excuse for a 'no'

....if its not the world's worst, it should be nominated for the award.

My cousin sends me a facebook message saying she's so sorry that she can't be at the wedding because her kids 'tend to get sick in the month of December'

REALLY? I didnt know whether or not to laugh hysterically or get pissed. I wanted to write back and tell her next time to just send back the no or come up with a better excuse.

tell her not to return the RSVP, facebook reply is fine, she can keep the stamp and exchange it for a cough drop.... her kids might need it in two months.

there is something seriously wrong with people!

that's so offensive that it's almost funny.

we had two couples RSVP yes, then call a month later to say they were invited to a 50th bday party of a dear friend they cannot miss.

at least i know where we stand in their ranking.
