Worried

Is anyone else worried that they will meet there minmum and plus more? FH keeps saying we need a list B but I don't think many of List A will say no.

My room can only hold 130 MAX (I think; other oak room girls please confirm)

our originial guest list that we made up the night we got engaged was 264. So we figured a 175 minimum was easy. I made out all the STDs and it came out to 173 A list people.....

So now I am a little worried

Not at same RH - but if you're worried just make a little B list of like a dozen people in case a few A listers surprise you and cant go!

The room we have fits 450 and we are inviting about half that so we shouldn't have anissue.

Just make your A list under the max capacity the room holds, but have a B list just in case you don't make your minimum.

My minimum is 100 - the room holds about 220. My list keeps growing and growing and growing. Its no where near the max but I definitely wanted less people than im having lol

I realized yesterday when I was making my STD labels that only 8 people are considered B list lol. FH is freaking out that our final payment is going to be a lot more than we planned but I keep telling him that people won;t come. We'll see.

Make a B list! It sounds like it will comfort FH. lol

The Oak room holds 150 max. My BM said that if you have more than that they will accommodate. They totally understand that people can randomly decide to come last minute.

I'm afraid I won't make my minimum and only have a few on my B-list, but I'm pretty sure those people wouldn't even show up.

Also you never know who you might know in a year from now.

On the plus side if you are under your minimum I am sure there are some LIW girls that would love to attend.

I'm worried for the opposite scenario. We guaranteed 180 but are inviting somewhere around 250, and I DO NOT want over 200 people to show. We cant afford that! lol

The room can fit 12 tables of 12ppl. I think 11 tables fits better though. If you put 12 then the side with the door where we walk in from, one table will be separate on the other side of that door. We are hoping for no more than 120. We had to guarantee 110. We don't want a B-List but we do have one. Mostly bc of the uncertainty and bc 110 is a small amount of guests and now my dad wants to add ppl, etc.... If your vendors aren't house then they count as a full person-if u are feeding them.- If your minimum guarantee is not met. Once it's met they cost 1/2 price.

We really don't think many of our A-list will say no neither, bc when you have a smaller guests list, most of the ppl coming are very impt to you. Our families alone took up a lot of the guest list.

What's your invite number right now? We have 150 invited. We are even worried about that being too many. So, basically we are expecting 30ppl to say no. Looking at the list we can't imagine who the 30 are gonna be besides the older out of town relatives from Florida...

I don't want to go over my minimum so I'm inviting that exactly. I figure I can give people dates if I need help making my number since right now the only people getting dates are the bridal party and those who are married or in really serious relationships (but I'd invite those people anyway)

But you can always have a B list, it's helpful if you need a person.

FH AND I ARE IN THE SAME BOAT....WE STARTED AT 115...THEN IT WENT TO 135....THEN 150....CURRENTLY AT 183 ...WE TRIED THE WHOLE DEFINITE LIST AND BACK UP LIST AND LIKE 5 PEOPLE MADE THE 'B' LIST....WE GAVE UP ON THAT IDEA RATHER QUICKLY!!!
