Re: Worried about a confrontation at my E-Party
IF she starts anything, tell her you already asked her and she said no. Its her lose, but you seriously can't be sitting around waiting to see if she feels like it or not. This is your event and you are in charge, dont let people bully you around or make you feel bad. If she starts a confrontation then most likely others will see her as being being ridiculous.

Just act suprised if she still wants to be in it- say something like 'oh you gave ma the vibe that you were not interested so I asked another person, sorry.' If it is really THAT bad, I would just include her.

I'd let your mom handle if anything arises. You have better things to think about at your e-party.

I remember the story. It's her loss. You can't wait around for her. She has to understand that.

Kathleen,
I think that if anything happens, let your mother handle it. Your cousin decided she didn't want to be in the wedding, so it is her loss! The party is your day to enjoy yourself. Your mom will be able to handle anything sticky.

I agree -- let your mom handle it. And if she behaves really inappropriately, no one will wonder why she isn't in the bp. Good luck!

You deserve to enjoy this day. Don't let an attention seeker ruin it for you. I would imagine that anyone who is asked to be in a bridal party would answer rather quickly. If she couldnt do that then it is her issue. You have plans to make and organize.

I agree with the girls. If your mom has volunteered to handle it let her do it so you can enjoy your day. you can always deal with her next week, next month, or even next year!
