worried about my B-Party...

worried about my B-Party...

MOH briefly mentioned to me something about my B-Party, which made me inquire.....

And now I'm afraid its going to be a huge suck fest... I feel so disappointed.

She mentioned by email that 'We have something more civilized than than vulgar / lewd / etc... traditional bachelor / bachelorette **** planned for you - you know me, not my style!! Personally, I don't understand the allure of having a naked / semi-naked stranger hump your leg.'

I am not looking to have male strippers/dancers or anything like that, but I did want to have a fun time!! I know my MOH is the biggest prude on the earth, and so now I am worried.....

Then u need to tell her what you don't want to do for your B-Party.. Remember this is for you NOT THEM...

Apparently something has already been planned.
And therefore I feel like a big baby whining about it...

if u dont want to flat out say anythig..i would try to find out exactly where u r going..then research and tr to fnd something exciting to do if u dontlke what they panned or u can go there afterd oing what they had planned

maybe its just a ploy so u dont know what it is??

if you dont think you're gonna have a good time or it's not going to be your style maybe tell her what you are expecting. im sure she wants to throw a kick @$$ b-party for you so hopefully she wont mind your suggestions.
good luck!

Re: worried about my B-Party...

for mine right from the begginning I told them ideas of what I wanted. I said we dont have to do all of it but this is what I want. SO thats what they chose from . This is YOUR bachlorette party, so you need to say something

so why dont you plan it...that is what I am doing...my MOH is helping me because she lives in the city and knows all the good places but for the most part I am calling the shots!

I already told my girls what I want for a b-party and I know they will go above and beyond.

Thanks girls for trying to cheer me up...

My MOH is older, and as I already said, a huge prude, so I am worried that it will be boring and lame. I think I am really upset at the fact that I was not consulted AT ALL. No one asked what I'd like to do, or even who I'd like to invite!!

Also, the time frame that I thought was going to be my shower, isn't- apparently its the time frame for my B-Party...

I am trying not to be a big baby about it, but I am really upset.

I would write back to her and say 'remember this is my b party.. not yours. Which means we should do stuff that is more my style, not yours. If a half naked man wants to hump my leg im ok with that'

I think that's a perfect way to approach the situation. It doesn't come of rude or whiney and the end even keeps it light with humor.

is there anyone else in your BP that could step up. . like plan an AFTER PARTY for your Bach party. . so if you just do something more mellow . . you can go have some stranger hump your leg or something after. . JK about that. but you know. . go out and be a little wild!

or just find out about it and plan the after party yourself!!
