So... I order my dress a few weeks ago from DB for my July wedding. They told me it wouldn't come in for 4-5 months, I figured that was perfect. I get a call on Monday saying it is ready to be picked up!! I am really nervous to store it this long. Has anyone else done this? Any tips? Thanks

i bought my sample from village bridal last month
it will be sitting in the store in a garment bag until then
I am not really worried...Im actually happy that I have the dress in my posession, in my size and color
don't have to worry about hte dressing coming in wrong or not coming in at all!
It will be fine, keep it in a garment bag

I have had my dress at home since mid-June. I agree - I like having it in my possession and not having to worry about how others might be treating it Just make sure you get a good bag and store it properly
