Worried I made a bad choice w/ Photographer

I see all these posts about photographers and no one has used mine, Hilite. I went w/ the cheaper one I had found and settled and left 1/3 deposit. Do you think I can use the 1/3 deposit towards the video and cancel the photographer and look at another? I am stressed

I say if your happy with them, then don't worry. Just because someone on LIW hasn't used them doesn't mean their bad. Remember there are thousands of brides on LI & only a few hundred on LIW, so we can't possible expect all the vendors out there to be on here. You could be the bride that brings Hilite to LIW, just like littlecat brought Duet(& now lots of brides are using them).

I just settled. I didnt really look around. Now that I look at other peoples pics I like them so much better.

Dont worry. My hall not many people heard of and only 2 or 3 girls from here had their reception there. Now I know about 4 girls who are having their reception at my hall and my hall is now a vendor on here as well.

As long as you are happy that is what matters

GO WITH YOUR HEART!!! If you like your photographer, keep him! If there is a reason why you don't like him, book someone else.

But remember, you can still look at other photographers just to see what's out there! (Just don't tell them that you already booked someone)

Don't Fret!

I've actually had the same reservations. I've booked w/ Jessica Photography in W.Babylon. We liked him (the owner) a lot, and his stuff seemed just as nice as the other studios, but it was cheaper. But no one here really uses him.

But, i'm still cool w/ my decision. if you like them, trust yourself..

Don't sweat yourself over second guessing. You could have easily just walked into JoVon and/or BrettMatthews and pass out.

Stick with who got in the first place.

i know hilite they have been on post ave. for years but i don't know of anyone who has used them for their wedding
do what ever makes you comfortable

I have not seen anybody using 95% of the vendors I booked. You must have liked something about them to book them. Don't worry. And I do believe I have seen others on here that have used the same place as you. I am sure you made a good decision.

If you feel that maybe your photographer is not going to take the pics that you want, make a must have list. Also get some pics to show him some of the styles you want. Remember, they are working for you that day.

We are using Hilite! When we went in to talk to them, a girl was there looking at her proofs. We asked her how she liked them...... she LOVED them! They have been around for a long time. I have never heard anything bad about them, the work is great quality, and I have seen nothing but happy people in the store. The price was great, I think we made a GOOD choice!!!!!
