I just took her last night for her six-month checkup and immunization shots. And, she hasn't gained an ounce since her last visit, TWO months ago!!! She's still 18 pounds, 4 ounces. Granted, she's pretty much been sick since her last visit (darned daycare), but she has been eating. Although she is also moving around a lot more these days. So, SOMEONE, please help ease my worry that this is okay... By the way, we just started solids two weeks ago, and now we will be increasing it to twice a day.... Help!

Your beautiful little girl is doing just great!! No Worries!! All children grow at different rates!! She's perfect!!

I would not worry if she eats and keeps her food/liquids down. That seems like a good weight for 6 months old.

If your doctor was concerned he/she would have told you at the visit. I am sure she is fine. Many babies start to slow down weight gain at 6months or so. Plus she was sick a few times. As long as she is drinking and seems to be a happy baby all is well I am sure.
