Man NYCTransit is just wonderful..........I have lived in NYC for 5 years and have never taken trains that I have had to take this morning...........I am so annoyed, then I get out of the train and it takes me FOREVER to get a freaking cab..........ughhhhh i want to go back home and crwl into bed

This is why I could never work in the city...I would rather drive to work, and get stuck in traffic than take a train and have to wait for a cab.

It can be a nightmare. I have lived here my whole life and I am growing tired of the commute. This morning, I am thrilled to get a seat only to have dirty water leaking on my head!! You just don't win.

Totally agree...did the commute on the LIRR for 10 months, the LONGEST 10 months of my life. My thought was if I am stuck in traffic at least I am in the comfort of my truck and not stuck like sardines in the vestibule on the train with some smelly person right next to me!!!!

Not only was the subway screwed up, but my LIRR train broke down this morning and we had to get off in Jamaica and get on another train...

Uch, that really stinks! I'm sorry you had such a rough commute. At least I can generally rely on the SI ferry to be punctual, although less can be said for the SI train and the subway.

Oh Man sorry . I know how a rough commute can just ruin your entire day.
Thats why I drive to work. I can't stand public transportation. I rather be stuck in the comfort of my truck than the metro.
