WORST DAY VENT

Today my BMs & I were to meet at the bridal store so they could purchase their dresses:


Well only one showed up!!! (she didnt even have money to buy her dress). Another could not make it but she gave me the money to purchase her dress (4 of my BM told me in advance they couldnt make it ...I expected not to see them). The ones that didnt show up didnt even have enough respect to call, txt , or email me to say they werent coming. (The grls that didnt show up begged me to be in the wedding)

I felt so alone, embarrassed, and extremely PISSED off.

The best part: my own mother didnt show up...she took the dog to the groomer instead

I know its early in the planning but we all decided on a day and time...these grls knew since MAY!!!!

So sorry you had a bad day...that suc ks that they didn't even bother to call.

How did the 1 that showed up expect to purchase a dress with no money

i am so sorry i would def let them know your upset so hopefully it doesnt happen in the future for other events.

The way I feel I dont even want them in my wedding.

Im not reminding anyone abt anything....If being in my wedding is important to them, then they need to take it upon themselves to ask questions and do what needs to get done.

Im disgusted....I reminded them all constantly...I refuse to do it again.

I'm not sure if you did they, but maybe just send them a friendly reminder the day before by text message... this way if they can't make it then at least you know in advance...

not tell your BM stress you out... I'm sure that they will make up for it big time - like you bachlorette party or something... (hopefully)

I have been reminding them on the monthly basis....I called n text all of them last night and early this morning!!!!!!!

IM SO FURIOUS!

Im not stressed....just pissed. Im more so pissed bcuz they begged to be in the wedding....I didnt ask them. I have had convesation with them ALL countless times asking if this was a financial burden or if they were sure they wanted to participate in the BP... I told them all if they wanted to remove themselves I wouldnt be upet and they ALL were welcome to be GUEST no matter what!!!!!


I cant chase or follow grown women around and force them to do the RIGHT thing....

girl I would be heated myself... i personally would have gave each of them a piece of my mind (not in a bridezilla kind of way, but more so in a tasteful way) because if the shoes were reversed i'm sure that they would NOT appreciate it if you left one of them hanging...

I am so sorry they all did that to you. Especially since they invited themselves into the bridal party.

I would have a talk with them... if their going ot be unreliable you don't want them in the bridal party!!!

Thanks ladies for the support....

Today is a new day and Im letting it go....when dealing with certain ppl its like talking to the wall (thats why I didnt want them in my BP first of all...my parents asked me to include them bcuz there werent any 'family' members in my BP)

My wedding isnt abt the BP is abt me and FH continuing to have a happy & healthy life together...

Im not losing sleep over this, im going to continue to plan my wedding and do what I need to do for me. If they want to participate they can get in touch with me.....(I honestly hope they dont)
