This topic came up at work today... What was tackiest lipstick you ever owned? Unfortunately I have more than one. How about late 80s highschool years... kind of a bright flamingo pink, yet frosty at the same time. Ick. It practically glowed in the dark. I was ok during college (didn't wear much makeup) but then the dreaded dark lip liner, frosty lipstick phase. I only did that for a little while, but in my area it seemed like everyone was doing it. How 'hoochie!'. The late 90s I went through my dark brown, matte phase. Verrrry dramatic. Very pain in the butt,as it came off on everything. My coffee cup had a permanant brown ring, and hubby was afraid to kiss me! I've been doing pretty good for the last 3 or 4 years, sticking to nudes and glosses, but I'm sure in a few years we'll be thinking 'ugh, can you believe I used to wear such blah lipstick??' Who else had lipstick disasters?

oh me!!! i wish i had a pic! i used this brick color from clinique- horrible!! i was also into a phase from revlon with a color that everyone wore- it was brown - but i cant remember the name!
it was always sold out at CVS!
in college i wore none (military school)
and now i wear nude gloss- which i think is the best on me.

I think that VAMP from Chanel was horrible. I didn't wear it because I couldn't pull it off. I did wear the nail polish though.

I loved that. but I had that whole queen of the dead thing going at the time. I think the worst was the purple lipstick phase.

Anyone remember Sealily by L'Oreal? OMG!! The worst. It was like a pearlized pink and I was obsesssed with it, granted I was like twelve or thirteen!

when I was in seventh grade I wore this lipgloss that had a number(i forgot it). It was a white pearly irridescent color. It made me look like I had no lips!!

Mine was probably Vamp. Way too dark for me, and I insisted on wearing it. I also had a color called Blackberry (Revlon) -- similar to Vamp, slightly more flattering.
Under the influence of seeing some '60s Mod movie or other, I once bought white lipstick. Not too smart!
Someone already mentioned Clinique's Brick -- that one actually looked OK on me!
