Oh its a mock wedding & reception that LIWeddings throws each year. Brides from LIW and their grooms are the mock brides, bridemaids groomsmen etc. They have prize giveaways for those of us who have not tied the knot yet and it gives you a chance to see alot of the LIW vendors in action. This past year the wedding was at Westbury Manor and the Reception was at Chateau La Mer.

When, Where is it going to be held this year. and, how do they pick who will participate in the mock wedding.

Ron & Liz have mainly posted to the 06'ers to be participants in the mock wedding. If I am not mistaken I think part of it will be at Chateau La Mer and I am not sure about the other location. I know last year brides-to-be won a custom designed head piece by Thomas Knoell
Plasma TV, Cash gifgt certificate from Best Buy, One night's stay at the Wingate Inn, Photobooth for your wedding just to name a few.... Enjft went last year I believe and from what I have heard on the boards it is supposed to be really nice. Here is the link and I hope to see you guys there....

I definately plan to go!! Can't wait until they update the website with this year's info. I hope it will be at Westbury Manor again. I'm considering them and it would be great to see them in action.

Are they doing the ceremony and reception there? I think last year they had the ceremony at Westbury Manor and the reception at Chateau La Mer.
