i am not familar w/ the lynbrook area so i cannot comment on the location. the house itself needs a TON of work (gutted and completely renovated). how much are other homes (property and house size) sell for in the area?

Lol~not for me! I am in contract with a house in Lynbrook already. I found this in the real estate book and the price is amazing. I was showing if anyone was married to/marrying a contractor... Can't beat the area or school district. EVeything else would go way over $400000.

I would. My friends did this and now have a beautiful home in Lynbrook with a great school district.
