Would anyone like this desk?

DH and I feel that his desk does not fit or work for us any longer and we've ordered new desks. However, this desk is perfectly good and we can't see throwing it out if someone would like it.

It is in excellent condition...I don't think it has any bangs, chips, or cracks. All the drawers and doors work perfectly and we have the keys to lock the cabinet too. In the cabinet one shelf slides out, the keyboard drawer slides out, and the big drawer has the bars to hold files. There is a CD rack and there are some bookshelves on it too. DH bought it at Fortunoff a couple years ago. I'll post some pics and the measurements of it, if anybody is interested (please don't mind DH's junk and 2 computers...it will all be gone by the time you can pick it up).

It measures 53' tall at the cabinet and shelves, the desk part is about 76' long and 18' deep, and the 'L' part is 66' from the back of the desk part (under the shelves) to the very end and 23' deep.
(I hope I didn't confuse anyone).

If anyone at all is interested in the desk it is all yours. All you would have to do is pick it up here at our home in Wantagh, the sooner the better...preferably this week. If anyone wants it please FM me, and if more than one person says they are interested then I will give it to the first person who FMs me and can come get it real soon!

We like our 'Red Room' too (we call ours the red room but we say it like the little boy in the Shining said 'Redrum'!). We aren't afraid to use color but I am a bit afraid of what will happen when we want to paint over it! We'll be laying on the primer thick!

I will have to take some. Maybe tonight because I told a co-worker I would show him as well because he did his dining room in that color.

We just finished painting it this weekend and I set up the computer desk but half of the room is left unfurnished. I think we are going to put some kind of day bed - the previous owner had it set up that way and it actually looked nice. I am just afraid if I ever work from home I will want to go to sleep in the bed. I just don't know what color to accessorize it with yet....

edited to say - how many coats did you use? We have 4 coats! Crazy!

I would have taken it but it is too big, I need a bigger computer area too but yours wont fit in my little computer room

Sasha is sooooooooooooooo generous. I took her bedframe so I'd die if I'd ask for this too, lol. She and her DH are dolls and they have a BEAUTIFUL home

Sasha - here is my red/orange office - I have yet to furnich it. Just finished paintin it yesterday. I set up my computer last night - I have been dying without it at home!

It looks awesome! Our office's color is called 'Deep Rose'. What color carpet/flooring do you have with it? We have a very natural colored nubby berber. Thanks for sharing the pic!
