Would I be allowed to do this?

My cousin is getting married this October. His sister got married a few years ago, and her parents threw her a huge lavish wedding with 400 guests. They are very traditional, so they believe in paying for the wedding of the daughter and not the sons. My cousin's fiancee's family apparently can't help them much financially, so they are on their own. My aunt and uncle are, I think, going to help them out with a few things, but that's it.

I have things to pay for myself, but my parents are paying the bulk (thank God b/c I'm just a law student working part time at this point!), so I should be able to come up with some extra money. I'd like to just make a payment towards one of their vendors - like a florist or something. Assuming I know who the vendor is, do you think the vendor would just be willing to take a check/cash from me on their behalf?

If not, I am praying they do a honeymoon registry or something. I would love to be able to give them even a little bit of help towards their actual wedding expenses.

that is very nice of you! I really don't see why a vendor wouldn't take your money. I don't know though cause I have never tried. I would just call up and ask the vendor once you find out who they booked.

i think i vendor would totally take a check from you toward their wedding. why not, they're getting paid...just by someone else!

whether it's a vendor or HM registry, or whatever, i'm sure they will appreciate it v much!
