FH and I didn't do a first dance to at all... I don't really want to explain why...but would it be horrible if we didn't...

I say do what you want! It's oyur day! FH and I were tryng to pick out songs for our first dance but then we realized it would be more meaningful if we used our song!

It's your wedding, you can absolutely leave out the first dance.. we left out the garter and bo-k toss and no one said a word to us..

FH and I arent dancing to our song, we are looking for one that has more meaning now that our lives are taking a new level in our relationship.

THat is what FH said he wants, since we both hate to dance. I am afraid that it will be noticed if we don't do it though.

If my guy had his way, we wouldn't do one.
So we compromised and a) we're doing a short song and b) after the first chorus, bridal party will come out and dance w/us.
If you don't do one, it's not a huge deal. It's your wedding, don't do something that is 'horrible' to you

JB - its totally your wedding..the only thing, IMO that would be horrible is if you and FH did something that you really didn't want to do!

If that is what the bride wants, then that is what the bride gets. You are not obligated to do a first dance if you are not comfortable with it. And if your DH don't mind, then don't do it.
