Would it be too blunt for me to ask someone if they are inviitng me to their wedding, so I know if I should invite them to mine?

A old (but not so good0 friend is getting married after me, she is having 500 guest (considered to be a small list for her comunity) I am having 120. I would invite her but I want to know if she is planning on inviting me since well I am having a much smaller wedding. Is this rude or a good idea to ask?

I don't think I would ask. Since your wedding is first, you're going to be the one to really make the decision - do you want her at your wedding? If yes, invite her - if no, don't! Obviously, I don't think she would then invite you if you didn't invite her to your wedding!

Yes, I think it is rude and you probably shouldn't ask. Maybe you have a mutual friend that would know? In my opinion, it is best to create your guest list based on who you really want there, regardless of reciprocating invitations. Good friends understand this.

I wouldnt. Are you only going to invite her if she invites you. If so, dont do it.

Obviously, she is having a larger wedding than you, so if she can invite you, then great, if not, also great. What will be will be, so I wouldnt bother asking....JMO

I wouldn't ask - might be seen as rude.
Invite who you want to invite and let her do the same.
Just because you do or don't invite her to your wedding doesn't mean she has to invite or not invite you to her's...

I read this a few times before I decided to respond. You know... did it ever occur to you that she is waiting to see if you're inviting her first?

Not a good idea to ask. Invite her only if you want her there.

Invite her if you want to..if not, don't...whehter or not she invites you to her wedding is irrlevent. I'm inviting a lot of people who didn't invite e to their weddings, and not inviting a lot of people who did
