Thanks, girls! I really want to order one now! So there is supposed to be one that you keep and one that you toss, right? I found a cute bridal-looking white set with one satin one and one lace one. One has a Giants applique on it and one just has the NY symbol applique. Will I jinx them if I order one now? Should I wait? Haha...not that it will make a difference in whether or not I get one. I think FH will love me forever for this one.

I say do whatever you want! I'm looking for aGuniess Garter myself. And yes, most people get 2 garters, one cheaper one to throw. I found a post on this site a long while back of someone who makes garters if you are interested I can see if I can dig it up.

No, not at all! My cousin's DH is into hunting, big-time. She wore a camo garter and it was a hit! He turned beet red and kissed it when he saw it! LOL
