So, I've been thinking about the 'something blues' since I can think of like 2 girls who I would have definitely wanted to put in my wedding party, but I didn't want it to be bigger than 5 people because too many girls in one place causes too much drama.
But anyway, I have a really really close guy friend too. He and I always have joked about if he could be in the wedding party. I always told him if he wore a dress, then absolutely. Of course he's not going to wear a dress though! I was thinking, that perhaps it would be nice to ask him if he could be one of my 'something blues' as well. I'm not sure if guys would think that's just weird though, and they wouldn't get it? What do you girls think?

its your wedding, do what you want! I've seen guys be the man of honor even. Honestly I don't like the whole something blue thing because I wouldn't want to make anyone feel like they were second to the bridal party, but that is just my opinion. I am a firm believer in doing whatever you want! Ifthey are important to you, do it, or have them do readings even

I think it is a nice idea. I am thinking of asking my male cousin to be my something blue. We were really close as kids but he lives out of state & FH has never met him so he can't be a groomsman. I think he would be flattered you asked him

I think you should definitely ask him! I think he would be honored. Esp since you 2 would joke about being in each others weddings. He could wear a blue tie with his suit to your wedding!

He could be in your wedding party and not wear a dress. I think he SHOULD be a part of your wedding somehow. It sounds like you are close.
