Would love feedback on bands !!

We are using Time Square Orchestra. They are an 8 piece band which I think is an average size. I'd venture a guess to say most bands are 8-10 piece. As far as pricing, what do you mean by 'reasonably' priced? I'd say most are $5K and up.

We used Timepiece by Franklyn Wayne and they were great. They have 5 different bands and if you go to there website FranklynWayneMusic.com you can hear samples from all there bands. I also heard Paris at a wedding and they wre great too.

I sound like a broken record but I had Niteflight and I love them! The really impressed me and DH and did a fab job. They were the most reasonably priced band we saw..very talented and knows what they are doing.

I was so close to booking The Mystic, who performed at my MOH's wedding. They're amazing, and not a stereotypical wedding band. They're just plain GOOD. Check out their website... they are very impressive. WEBSITE

(We decided to go with a DJ, but every now and then I regret not going with them. They're great. We specifically go to see them at Hudson and McCoy throughout the summer. SO GOOD!)

I've seen the After Hours Orchestra, Timepiece and Daybreak's Night. The last two are Franklin Wayne bands. I am going to be booking Daybreak's night, they were the best that I saw. Make sure you go see their showcases. You can also go on this site and find them under vendors.

You can ask for DVD's of the bands by email, but you should really go see them in person. Bands are usually upwards of 5k for 9 piece bands, but you can alter the bands to suit the size of your wedding and your budget, and for each member that you don't have in the band usually takes off around $500.

I'm the girl she's describing..........The Mystic played at my wedding and I can't say enough about them. My advice is to choose a band that plays at local bars/restaurants rather than just a typical wedding band. May be a little more $$$ but worth every penny. People will talk about your wedding band (as long as you choose a good one) for a long time, trust me. It's not an area to cut back on. In my opinion music is more important to me than food at a wedding so go for it! The Mystic is playing at Hudson and McCoy this Thursday night! They are a full 8 piece band and do a wide variety of music. They will learn a song if it's not on their song list. Check them out! They are so much better live, their clips on the website don't do them justice! Another good band that I like is Full House. They are both really great bands. My dance floor was packed all night!
