so the other day my Fmil comes over and tells me she found her dress for my wedding and so did my FSIL ( one of BM!!!) ...she felt that she could just go get her own dress and not match the other BM's!!!! they want to get them from HSN ...let me share with u guys and I cant wait for your reactions
Oh Kim - is this a veiled dig at your destination wedding? Like they can just pick any old thing?????
Just for that I'd make my FSIL wear some ugly pink taffeta bit with a big old bow under her asss and some puffy sleeves. Oh, with lace gloves.

im telling you they are really making me sooo mad! my mom is wearing a gown! like they dont wanna dress up because its at the beach b/c they are going to be too hot! i told her well then you cannot be my BM if u are planning on wearing that dress!

i knowww! they both got gowns for the his brothers wedding! they just dont wanna spend the money !

You go girl! Well, what did Steve say? You can always tell them that if they can't find a suitable dress than they can't be in any pictures except the ones that are taken with his side of the family.
that is just rude and disrespectful... did they see your gown or your mothers dress?! Aren't they going to feel wierd???

Hopefully they'll get over themselves... it's not like they're going to be standing on a beach for 7 hours... just for the ceremony... they'll be ok... geez!

HONESTLY if i were you i would let them wear it they will probably think its a GREAT idea until they show up and see your entire family looking gorgeous in gowns THEY are going to feel silly and underdressed at their own son's/brother's wedding and THEY can hear everyone go on and on about how gorgeous YOUR mom looks. . . but i am mean like that!

Whaaaaat????? Does your FSIL think that rules don't apply to a destination wedding? Have you mentioned to her that she's gonna have to return it? And as far as FMIL give me a break, you'd think she'd wanna get a little dressed up. I mean it is her sons wedding not just any old wedding?!?!?
