Would or did your husband or FH see Brokeback Mountain?
My husband is completely frustrating me with his homophobe bullcrap, he refuses to see it. Anyone else's hubby refuse to see it?

I'm ashamed to say it but FH won't see it either. He also doesn't like Will & Grace but manages to watch it with me every week.

I've come a long way in trying to get my hubby out of his prejudiced views. He won't see it at the theather, but he said if I really want to see it at home he'll do so. It's frustrating when they're so closed minded, but I have a gay uncle and it's important to me that my DH not be prejudiced.

I could NEVER marry a homophobe. I can't even tolerate being around them. Of course he'd see it.

DH and I saw it with BIL. They both thought it was wonderful, I'm the one that thought it wasn't as great as it was hyped up to be.

DH didn't want to see it until it started getting nominated.
He likes to be able to see all the films that are nominated for best picture.

He would never see that movie in a thousand years. I can not even get him to go see cheaper by the dozen.

Hell yeah!!! Our best friends are gay - they live in california, and we talk to them every week. He doesn't have a homophobic bone in his body - and he is such a big, manly guy - it's hysterical... He'll even joke with them and say he is going to run away with them, or trade me for one of them....
We saw the movie together and loved it - it was never a question about it... even funnier - our friendss didn't see it yet....
one of them is our best man, and the other is a grooms men.... They are our friedns before ayhting else, but they happen to be gay and the best people in the whole world!!!

Neither of us are homophobic, but it just doesn't look like a movie we'd enjoy. Looks like a 'slow' cowboy movie - and we just don't have an interest!

FH said he would go with me to see it. His brother is gay so, he's not uncomfortable with it.

Mine! I wanted to go yesterday, and he refused. He also refuses to go see Munich. So that pretty much eliminates the only two movies I want to see

My DH is not homophobic, and has hung out with my gay friends. However, he still would not see the movie... I guess I'll be going by muyself!

Well, the thing is - its not really a 'gay' movie - its a love story, which equals chick flick, which equals man don't wanna see, ooga booga...
My FH has 2 daughters, and me - he's stuck in chick HELL!!!

My FH has absolutely no interest I think I could drag him there kicking and screaming. I think it's a little bit of the gayness and a little bit of the love story he likes action movies.
