Um to be honest, I wouldnt use it. Maybe for the menu because you see that in restaurants but not the #'s. JMO

Not any cheesier than the plain wire stands the halls usually use for table #. It doesn't really add anything to teh table, but it doesn't really take anything away.

I don't like that for the menus. Instead of frames why don't you just make the menus scrolls?

i like it because it is simple, but i can see the potential to come off as cheezy... can you figure out a way to maybe decorate the edges a bit using beads, ribbon, and your colors? just a thought...

It might me nice to just have your menu on nice paper laying on the table or in a picture frame. Sometime you can find really nice ones at a dollar store. You can buy 2 for each side of the table. I'm not sure if I like the plastic.

I agree that maybe you should dress it up. Im thinking, put a thin layer on the bottom base and line it with either swarovski crystals, rhinestones, or beading.

JMO: I don't like the plastic. Try Walmart for frames. I got mine there, and they were $2.00 each.

Honestly, I don't like the plastic frames either. I am using frames for my table numbers. I brought them in a 99 cents store by my house but they are glass with a gold trim.

Honestly I dont' either but I CAN'T FIND ANY FRAMES!

Yes I know I waited until the last moment but I seriously cannot find any frames that would be nice to put at the tables.

Please if anyone sees any 5x7 frames with silver (plastic silver is OK) please let me know.

I have way too much to do with cleaning my dad's whole house, seating chart, writing out place settings, doctor's appts, dress appt, designing and getting wedding programs copied........I hate those cheezy wires with the table numbers on them but I really am nervous I won't be able to find any frames.

Thanks

LIsa I know you live outside of LI but if you can give me the address of the store I may just go anyway and see if they have any I can use.

I'm getting desperate

The 99 cent stores near me sell complete crap.

I went to as 99 cents store in Brooklyn on 18th Avenue between 67th & 68th Street (right next door to Payless and Liberty Travel).

You don't really need frames or a stand for menus. I think the tables start to have too much stuff on them and get in the way. Why not just print them out and place on the table - 2-3 should be fine per table. They should be taken away after dinner is cleared.

for table names...maybe
for menus NO...why would you put a menu in a upright stand?
