So, FFIL lost his job last Friday. FH called me today and asked me if could add FFIL to our phone plan since he doesn't have one now (his company paid for his phone). I said ok, no problem. FH says ok, cool because I already did it.
Then why did you even bother asking me?
I'm a little bothered that he did it and then asked me. I guess he knew that I was not going to say no. He knows I love FFIL.

Maybe it was just an afterthought? Like, he knew you'd be cool with it, but thought for a second maybe he should run it by you?

i would tell FH that it's fine but next time to just let me know ahead of time ... i wouldn't be mad or anything (and wouldn't start a fight) but i'd just say it so he knows for next time.

i totall agree with the other girls, i think we all take for granted that or sig other will just be ok with certain decision and jump the gun... and you are and would have been ok with it, so i would just let it go!!!!

I agree. It's not a big deal and I wouldn't get mad, but just mention that going forward, you'd really like him to talk to you before making a decision that involves you. Communication is so important.

Heck yeah that would bother me...FH knows I pass every decision that involves him by him, even if I know what his answer will be...I expect the same respect and consideration.
