would this have been cute?

FH's parents and my parents have the same anniversary! How ironic is that! at one point i was thinking it would have been so cute for us to get married on their wedding anniversary, ya know...kind of as a tribute to them. WOuldnt that have been cute!? their anniversary i believe falls on a Sat. in nov. 08....but i just dont want to wait that long! waiting till may 08 i feel like is too long as it is. it was just a thought though. what do you guys think. (we already set our date though, so i doubt we will change it)

it would be a really nice gesture since they both have the same anniversary...however i completely understand the feeling of it's so far away. I feel like oct 08 is never going to get here!!!! If you really want to you can change,t ime will fly faster than you could imagine...however if you are set on the spring wedding, then stick with your date!!!

i would wait and do it on the same day.. i wanted to do it on my parents anniversary. but its on like a wed. its a good luck kinda of thing in my eyes. they're married 30 years!.. its really up to u.

waiting for June 08 seems like forever, we're waiting by FH wanted the date. I think it would be really cute to get married on your parents anniversary

we already booked our hall...but i was just thinking about it again and how romantic i think it would be to do this. so that made me wonder about it. it's still a possibility...we'll have to see though.

my father passed away 20 years ago and i wanted to do something involving him..so my date is what would have been my mom and dads 35th anniversary

Oh my gosh. That is the sweetest thing I've ever heard. I would change it - but thats just me!

If everyone else knows your date, and you both really want to get married in April (? I cant remember from your avatar if its April...?), then do that!

my moms 2 brothers and theie now wives starting dating on the same date but diffrent years (10/14). My FH and I started dating on 10/14 after the by coincedence! So we are trying to be married as close as possible

I love it!!! I would totally do it and was planning on doing it on my parents date, but I think it falls on a Tuesday in 08 so we opted not to. But it seems perfect that his and your parents both have the same anniversary and you can do it on a saturday too!! It would mean a lot to them, I'm sure and it sounds like his and your parents are all still together, so it sounds like a good luck day too!

Awww that is very cute and what a coincidence...Its a touch decision, if you have no problem changing your date to a later date months away then why not. I think you and FH should sit down and talk about this

I think its a really cute idea...we picked our date because his parents wed ann is in april, and my parents dating ann (before they were married) was in april
