Would this look bad??? Need opinions

I got alot of really really nice china, glasses etc from my shower that I really love. I have NO room for a china cabinet, but would LOVE to be able to display some of it.
DH and I have been thinking of adding another cabinet above the fridge connecting two sets of cabinets that already exsist ( still with me?)
Its a pretty tall decently wide space.

Would it look horrible if I had glass doors put on it so I can use it to display some of our things?

The reason that I am not sure is b/c it is going to be over a fridge...It was really going to be a 'Storage' cabinet anyway since its high up and out of the way.

that would be the best place to display it. Post pics when you are done, I would love to see it. I am trying to get some ideas for our kitchen.

Ok well DH OK'D the idea!!!!! Now we have to go find out if they make the glass doors in the size we need to go with the cabinets
