Would this look tacky..CP related

We are renting our CP stands so guests can take the insert bowl, but not the container.

We plan to let the maitre'd know and maybe the waiters can mention it if they see someone taking one.

Now, my question is, would it be tacky to have a small card at the table saying something like 'floral stands are the property of the florist, but you are welcome to take the flowers' (or something better)

It would be a little card stock tent thing in faint a faint print and would be place card size or smaller (like 1' x 1.5) ..just kinda in the mix of things where people would see it but it wouldn't REALLY noticable.

Any thoughts?

I am sure the a little card will be fine. Everyone would probably assume that the florist put it there anyway.

my friends had the DJ announce it when they did the CP give away that the winner gets the flowers but not the holder. I think the place cards are a good idea but some guests might not see them with all the other stuff on the table... so i am torn...
