i havent decided what our favor will be yet...but i have seen this done and think it can be cute depending on what you do. I went to a wedding in oct. where they gave out individually boxed pumpkin pies! thought that was cute!

I think the cupcake favor is a cute idea....but I can't help to think of all the food my guests get at the CH then the reception and we plan on upgrading on dessert....so I feel for me, why give them more food to take hom??

I think its a cute thing. Not something you see at every wedding, plus its better than more useless stuff to pile up in the house

I think its a nice idea. I LOVED the cupcakes at TWOTY- those were absolutely adorable. Something like that is great because they wont go to waste or get thrown out.

i love edible favors. at least they will be eaten! i'm afraid whatever i give out is gonna be stashed in a draw somewhere. for my e-party i am doing individually boxed pastries

I don't plan to do this as my 'official' favor, but I'm going to get chinese takeout boxes to put out at the viennese so that people can take stuff home. I'm paying for it, they might as well take as much as they want!

well im having a viennesse hour and letting guests take home theyre fave desserts, so id feel kinda weird letting them have that as a favor..... BUT if you dont have a viennesse hour ive heard of a lot of couples giving out dessert (ie godiva mini wedding cakes), i prefer a small gift personally, hopefully something a little practical theyll actually use as well lol!

ETA: but i dont think its a bad idea at all

Jericho Terrace actually has something where they give out bagels with creamcheese and butter and plastic knives as a favor for breakfast the next morning... I thought that would be a cool idea...
