i like it - but i'm not sure if it's right for a bridesmaid gift...it's a past present future theme....so one would expect it from a boyfriend/fiance/husband.....

It would be a nice sentiment though...Sort of a 'We've been friends for a long time and I wanted you next to me today and I know we will remain friends in the future.'
