Make your own bridal shower invites if you knew about your shower??? And knew you could make them really nice???

I would..I did..lol I knew my Mom & MOH did not have the time, patience..so I did my own and gave to my mom to address & mail..worked out nicely..
I say if everyone else is ok with it, then why not..

Don't you have enough to do? Let someone else do it. I was very, very impressed by the job my mom did at my shower. And she obviously had a blast putting it together.

I guess is no one else is really doing anything about it........I would talk to whoever is throwing the shower and shee what they are thinking first though........

My sisters are throwing. My one sister told me she budgeted $100.00 for the invites. I said that's ridiculous let me make them... and she said the same thing... 'are you sure you want to do that???' I said He** yea I love to do that stuff. This way I know they fit in w the theme and they will look fantastic. As for do I have enough to do??? I guess but I am the girl who ordered her favors last summer... SO I am done w soooo much in advance.

Yup. I would, and I probably will. You can get some really beautiful bridal shower invitations from Paper Presentation (Manhattan), and just run them through your printer.

I know about my shower and I helped my mom seal the envelopes and brought them to the post office. I figured I would help her out.
I don't know if I would make the invites though- my mom and grandmother picked them out.

I honestly hope I don't find out when mine will be. I wouldn't want to do my own. I like the surprise effect. I think we do enough as a bride, someone else should handle that one.

Originally I told my mom I would help her if she needs it, but now I decided to stay out of it. I didn't want a surprise, but that doesn't mean I want to plan any of it.

Beth go for it. I would, but there is no way I could do them & still be surprised. I only got involved with the favors because I did not want them giving out candles, picture frames, lollipops, cookies, tea, or coffee.

Nah - I have enough to do without adding more things on! LOL If it means a lot to, maybe make a template or something you'd like and let your girls/family take over the rest
