Would you...

Use a makeup artist other than your day-of for e-pics/b-pics or for another wedding?

The only thing stopping me is that I have a fear that I might end up liking her job better, and she's booked for my day so I couldn't have her even if I wanted to. I love my day of makeup artist, but she is very very far from me to go on another trial/get my makeup done for other than the wedding (only comes to you day of), and this other artist that I've been dying to try is just the next town over.

Bah! What would you do? I know the answer is don't play with fire and torture yourself, but I just need to be reassured lol.

I don't think there's harm in going with someone else for another occasion or purpose. If there's a particular color or style you find you like more, you can give the info to your day of artist and it'll help make your day-of look even better! Only positive can come from it, the way I see it.

I would get my MU done by this other vendor, it can't hurt. If you happen to like something in particular better, then you'll just have a clear idea of what you want the day of your wedding. However, it could also end up that you will still like your day of vendor a lot better, you have nothing to lose, give it a shot.
