choose an entree for your menu even if you didn't taste it?? Our catering manager says that a lot of people choose the salmon and it's really good.
The reason I ask is because we tried 2 of the 4 available fish entrees and didn't love either of them to go with our overall menu selections.
Should we just go with it or request another tasting for just one dish??

I'd request another tasting 'cause this is the food that's gonna be serve on ur big day and what ur guests are gonna be eating, I wouln't want them to eat ok food, I would want them to eat the best, that's why u're paying big bucks!

id go with it.... if all the other food is good you prob cant go wrong....

I doubt it.
We had a choice of Stuffed Sole, Grilled Mahi, Sole Francese and Grilled Salmon... We would be choosing Salmon - we both LOVE salmon and we were gonna try and be adventurous and get mahi-mahi but it wasn't right for our overall menu. I have had their brunch food and it's amazing... everything else was great at the tasting too..

We know we don't want Sole so we wouldn't have another choice really? I mean, I will email our catering manager to see what he thinks.

Right. It's like process of elimination. We know salmon is normal for weddings and i don't think i've ever had a bad salmon dish anywhere... So we tried the other fish entrees and didn't love them.

Exactly :) Plus the rest of the food sounds like it was amazing so I'm sure it will be yummy. But do what will make you worry less about it...
