I know exactly how u feel the same thing happened to me with the 2 dresses that I liked. The one I really liked they didn''t and I ended up buying a totally different dress than the 2 I had. I am trying to find a pic but I can''t seem to find it

What is most important is that YOU love your gown! Everyone has different taste and opinions. Do they not like it b/c it isn''t their style? (If so, this is irrelevant - it''s your dress, which must match your taste!) Or, do they not like because they think that a different cut, color, etc. would flatter you much more?

If you get the feeling you described whan you were wearing the dress...then it is THE ONE!!!!! Who cares what THEY think...they are NOT the ones wearing it. I saw your pics, amd I think th edress is BEAUTIFUL!!!!

IMO, I think the dress is beautiful on you!! I understand where you are coming from, though. Sometimes when I don''t get the feedback I desire, I start to doubt myself!! I completely understand!! I know people have probably told you a million times already but I will tell you again: It is YOU wearing the dress!!! You need to love it and feel comfortable!! Try (and I know it is hard) not to worry about what others think!!

I read your other post and saw the pics (and commented on how nice it looked) and from what I read, you didn''t buy it yet, right? My advice is this: since you still have plenty of time to shop, don''t order it yet. Sit on this for about a month or so. You may even want to shop some more before you decide. If you continue you to shop or just wait it out and still can''t stop thinking about this dress -- it''s the one! Regardless of what the BM and MOH say! Good luck!

get it if you love it - its your day, like everyone already said! plus, if the dress wan''t on you at the time you showed it to them, it may not look as nice on the hanger.....
my mom didn''t really like my dress at first - they pinned it worng when i went back to show her....but now she absolutely loves it!!

I saw your pictures - I think you look beautiful! You mentioned in the picture captions that the dress needs to be fitted and is a bit too big, maybe this is what your friends are not happy with. Having your dress properly fitted makes such a HUGE difference!! As to what will flatter you best, only you can decide that by trying on lots of different styles, cuts, fabrics, etc. (I had to try on a whole bunch of dresses before I figured out what worked and what didn''t.)
Again - bottom line - if You love your dress, if it is everything that You have dreamed of - then - it''s The One!!! Be happy!!
