FMIL called last night and was telling me she had picked the song she wanted to dance with FH to 'raise me up' by Josh Groban. I said, sure no problem. Then she asked me if I was going to have the DJ play it. She knows full well that we're spending a lot of money on a band. I said that I would have the band play it and she seemed annoyed because she said it would be sung wrong. Well, sooorrrry! I'm not going to stop my band so I can put on a CD for her, that's ridiculous!
Yes, I would be annoyed. That's rediculous! I too am having a band and unless I'm having a song that sheet music does not exist for - the band is singing it!!!
if she doesn't like it, than have her pay for Josh Groban to come and sing it with the band!
Its times like this that I wonder why god made MIL's! They can be such a pain! Yes I would be annoyed. You pay good money to have a band and I am sure they will do a great job!
