You all know I HATE my new SIL. I finally received my Thank You card from her bridal shower that was a month ago. She addreses on the envelop. Mrs. Diane...Maiden name She did the same thing to my sister. My sister has been married for 4 years now, and she knows our married name. I have been married for almost 2 years now. If she didnt know...and I know she knows, ask my brother

I dont know if she did it on purpose. Hubby thinks Im just being silly, but my sister and I are PISSED OFF This is NOT the first time she did this to her, On the invitation to the shower she addres my sister by her maiden name. I dont remember what she wrote on mine. I should send the envelope back, and cross it off and put my married name on it

FH's cousins do that - and HOW many times have we corrected them? They sent us a wedding invitation to Eric and Rebecca His mother's new married name. Then we get the thank you - Eric - still mother's new married name and Rebecca my maiden name.
FH gets soooo mad!

She's just being passive-aggressive. I would ask my brother if he happens to know my married name now. If he asks why, be like 'Well, I received a thank you from new SIL and she put my maiden name on the envelope'. See what his reaction is.
