One of my good friends (a girl I talk to EVERYDAY) is pulling a 'I might show up to you Bachorlette Party'. What the hell?? I understand that she is a Mom but...She has a husband (who doesn't 'babysit his children' (he's an ass) & a Mother who lives to mind her grandchildren. She's making lame excuses. I decided NOT to go into the city because of her!!! (She is afraid to go in the city since 9/11) She is always talking about a night out...Well, here is the PERFECT oppurtunity. She called me today saying 'I forgot that your BP was this weekend' My other friend who is 9 months pregnant is furious at her & told her that I would be mad. My other friend said I can't go out all night for obvious reasons. But what's your excuse? she just hmmms & haaas. SO ANNOYING!! I made a point not to even mention it. I'm tired of trying to convince her. It just ticks me off because whenever she wants to do something I do it!!

I just had to vent!!!

I would, but think of how your party would be if you had her acting this way at the party? I know it stinks b/c you want her to celebrate, but maybe it would be worse if she came.

argh!! sometimes friends are such pains in the ass. i would be really upset also, but just go ahead and have a GREAT night. she's the one missing out in the end.

See the WORST part about it is MOST of my friends are just going to the dinner. And she knows this. So the rest of the night is going to be me & like 3 other girls!! (a few are preggers & some have other plans) She knows this & disregards this. I'm not a 100% sure it's about her husband. I'm the one friend that he likes. she said we can go out another night. HELLO..there is one weekend between the BP & the wedding!! And family will start arriving. I know she's going to call me today & I don't even feel like answering the phone!

I would be mad at her, but I wouldn't let it ruin my night. You will have other people with you, so her missing is her loss. It is your party. You enjoy it.

I'm so sorry that she is doing this....I am the MOH in my best friends wedding and we had her bach. party this past weekend and 3 girls backed out at the last minute....
It was awful and the bride was so disappointed....(not to mention that I ended up footing the $850.00 bill)

I am starting to realize that a wedding really has the ability to show you how good of friends your friends really are.....

I am really sorry!!!!!!!!

Keep in Mind you will have a GREAT time no matter what!

I would be ****ed too, but do you really want someone there that will not want to be there. Sometimes forcing people to go somewhere makes everyone have a bad time.

I would be upset...but just forget....if she's being a pain in the butt now...she'd probably ruin your night out anyway.
