Would you be mad if someone nominated you to be on 'What Not to Wear'?
On one hand...I wouldn't because I would get a new $5k wardrobe
but on the other hand ...HEY! what's wrong with what I am wearing??
I have someone that I want to nominate. But I don't think I could without knowing how they feel. (Family member).

no, I wouldn't- b/c I'd welcome the help, I think I dres ok, but I'm always concerned abtou not looking silly & could you some help. But sicneI care,I of course don't dres badly enough to be nominated.
But I think people that are so set in their ways that they dress bad enough to be nominated, may not see there look as needing improvement.
Does that make sense?

As embarrassing as I would be, I would love to be nominated. I know I need to learn how to shop for clothes for myself. I could live without that 360 degree mirror though..LOL

I would love it, except sometimes they make you throw out stuff that they really shouldn't just to make it more dramatic....that would tick me off.
But 5 g's for a new wardrobe...bring it on!

Actually, he was always a really nice guy...so I have nothing but good things to say. Yes, his clothes sometimes leave alittle to be desired on the show

If I dressed badly, I wouldn't be offended. My sister jokes that I should nominate her because she knows she doesn't dress that well! lol!

I am super sensitive when it comes to my appearance (i know - pathetic!) so I think I'd be slightly embarrassed (not exactly offended) if I was nominated on What not to Wear. The worst part is that hidden camera they use to film people in their absolute worst fashion faux pas moments.
However, I'm the first to admit that I'm not the most stylish person (I don't have that 'flair') so in some ways I'd WELCOME the chance to get a $5000 wardrobe by people who actually could tell me what looks best on me
I love this show (and all of the TLC shows )

I wouldn't mind at all....except the whole hidden camera thing. But I'd kill for $5k to spend on nothing but a new wardrobe...not to mention having stylists at your disposal...and a make-over!!!

I know they would put me in heels and make-up and gove my high maintenance hair! So that's why I wouldn't want to do it.
And of course they'd make fun of the way I do dress - I'm sooo low maintenance, sneakers & sweats, slacks & loafers @ work.
I wouldn't mind the fun of a makeover but probably not on TV ...

Hell Yea!!! I'll admit I have no fashion sense....I usually have to take someone with me to shop cuz I never know what looks good together or on me!!

I have said it about a 100 times that I'm waiting for the 'What Not to Wear' cre to come knocking on my door. I would LOVE it!! I do find myself looking at different styles of clothes since I've started watching the show.

I'm completely with you here - the thing that bothers me most about the hidden cam is when they film someone who is just relaxing around their house. I have a few things that I would NEVER wear out of the house or around other people (even down to the mail room at my apartment) but I wear lounging around the house when I'm alone. I'd be HORRIFIED if someone taped me wearing that stuff and put it on TV as an exhibit of how horrible my fashion sense is.
But that said, I COMPLETELY agree with your second paragraph - it describes me exactly.

i think i would be offended at first, but then i would embrace it. i would drop that 5k like its nothing. i would love to have 2 stylists tell me what looks good on me.

Definitely agree with you there!! There are some days when I look in the mirror and I am like 'what the hell am I wearing?!' LOL I would LOVE the help!
