FINALLY!!!!! The mother called me and as she says her 'flakey' sister is now leaving to come get her. She said she will make it up to me.

that's frustrating. sry she took advantage. so, how's she going to make it up to you--by paying you for the extra time or being your BFF? she shoulda just been like, here's the extra money, sorry for the inconvenience, and thanks for taking care of my kid.

I feel just like any other job if you work it you get paid for it!!!! So much for me going to do my running around!!! EERRR some people take such advantage of others!!!!

I think you not only deserve the pay you need to say something. That this is what your rate is per hour. This is what the rate is over the alotted time & if you go over the alotted time you NEED to be contacted to let you know. Its only common courtesy as you do have a life of your own. Say it & DO NOT BE SCARED. Its a job & like any other you need to stick up for yourself. Good Luck!
