Would you be nervous if........

your FH was playing paintball one month before the wedding? (keeping in mind that your FH is a klutz )

please tell me i have no reason to be nervous

i wouldnt worry...he has a month to recover

they wear protective stuff too. i would say he could possibly get a bruise here or there...but nothing serious.

i would be a little, dh went quading a couple days b4 the wedding, i was a wreck

ETA: Dh went bc he said it was his stress reliever, from all the wedding plan, just tell fh to be very careful and wear all the protective gear

im not worried about bruises - im just worried about him getting hurt in the face area OR twisting a knee or ankle or something like that......

now i think he is mad at me a little and he said he isnt going to go.....ugh, i hate this, i want him to go b/c he never has time to do anything with his friends its just i said something about it b/c my initial reaction was like paintball are you crazy....now he's like god forbid i go and something happens to me, you'll never forgive me, so im just not going........

so now i feel bad

I hear ya! Every weekend before the wedding that Joey was skydiving, I was petrified that he was going to break a leg or something. Everytime he called me from there I got a knot in my stomach, lol

He'll be fine.

Nah.. He has ALOT of time to recover. FH just went paint balling 2 weeks ago and everything was back to normal in a few days.

omg Nicole- I feel your pain- FH wants to play this Saturday- the day before the wedding lol!

One month should be fine I think- most of the black and blues will not be visible anyways- try not to worry

I wouldn't be worried. He has a whole month to recover if anything happens and nothing will probably happen anyway!!

I'm paranoid. My DH new not to play basket ball because he has a bad ankle. I wouldn't want to risk it. I mean many things happen out of the blue but DH and I didn't want to put ourselves in scenarios where things could happen. I would think you shouldn't worry b/c they wear gear right?

I probably would be BUT at least it's 1 month before and not 1 week before!
I'm sure he'll be fine anyway...but 1 month is plenty of time to recover from any minor thing that could happen.

my dh wanted to go a week before the wedding. honestly they are completely covered in their tuxes and they were face masks. so if he gets hurt most of his body will be hidden in the tux.

no dont be nervous. I know alot of ppl who went paintballing and never heard of someone getting hurt. A few bruises maybe but that will heal.

Dh played softball even the week before our wedding, my only rule was no softball the day of or day before his dad actually played softball the day of his wedding so thats why i said that. And dh has broken both ankles in the past playing baseball but for some reason wasnt nervous.

Its things you would expect to happen that dont and things you dont expect that would. FOr a looong time before the wedding i told DH i was afraid of him playing softball a few days before the wedding, meanwhile i was the idiot who broke her foot just going to work its like i jinxed myself for telling him this for over a year
