Would you be upset if.....

... your FH's cousin's E-Party was the week before your wedding?

(Keep in mind that the wedding STD's were already sent but the cousins, though first cousins, do not have a close relationship with eachother)

ETA: I should have specified.... it's our Eparty and we didn't have much leway with dates due to other family circumstances. I just feel bad about it

I would be .....It seems very inconsiderate to do it that close and a financial strain on the family!

This is just my opinion, but I really don't care about things like this.

Its not the night before or the day of your wedding, so people should be able to attend both events.

I'm part of that whole ' you dont own the whole week/month' mindset

No one will compare their party to your wedding. no worries.

I wouldn't worry about it. It won't take anything away from you. Better before then after this way their party is done with before you wedding. I wouldn't worry. Kinda bad on their part because people will probably be asking about your wedding.

however, i do think it's wierd that your FH's cousin has their engagement party planned for so far away...if it seems like they did it on purpose to upset you, then i can understand being upset... but i still wouldnt let it get to you.

I wouldn't worry about it. I'm in a situation where FH's cousin is getting married a month after us. It just puts a financial strain on his family. Don't worry about them. Enjoy planning your wedding.

aw, that is nice that you are considering them. I really wouldnt worry about it. The only way it would interfere is if the are doing rehearsal dinner a week before (i only say that bc i am...but i know most ppl do it like a few days before).

Ok then what i said still fits! You didnt do it on purpose to steal anyone's thunder.... so they shouldnt be upset.

It's a silly thing for a bride to worry about i'm sure FH's cousin and his FW will have other things to keep them occupied and not worry about it.
