I don't mean if someone passed away peaceful in their sleep or was sick. (Murder, accidentally murdered, or suicide)
If you already own the home would you want someone to tell you about what happened before you owned?
Example: amityville horror house

Re: would you buy a house...
my friend bought a house in centerreach. he had no idea about the house the neighbor came over and told him that the father was murdered in the house. he was abusing his daughter and in self defense she killed him. His fiance was upset that they didnt tell they before and since they pretty much redid everything in the house it doesnt bother them now.

I would not. If I had to, I would definitely have a priest and/or spiritual cleansing of the house.

Do you think the seller should be obligated to disclose that type of information?

I would not...someone killed themselves in the house I grew up in (he had terminal cancer)...my father then ended up getting cancer....(but he survived)
