I fell in love with a headpiece/veil at a bridal store back in January. I'm an overly cautious person and decided not to buy the first one that I loved. Well, I have now shopped around and I still love that one, and only that one. I love it and it is a great match to my dress. I would not even change a thing about it if I could design it myself!!
It has now been discontinued!!! A store has offered to sell me the one they had as a sample in the store (at a price to be negotiated). I keep thinking that they would probably get old looking easily and that they are fragile. If it looks okay, should I just buy it? Would you buy the sample?
I shopped around for so many things and I always go back to the first one that I liked (same w/ my dress).

Depending on the condition I definitely would. Especially for a veil most people wouldn't inspect it up close, so any minor imperfections wouldn't bother me.
Did you check ebay?

If it was in good condition, I would definitely buy it!! If you don't, you'll keep thinking about it and comparing everything else to it.

i am the sample poster child :) ( my wedding dress is a sample gown from vows in boston. anyhow, i think if you look at it and it's in good condition, you should buy it, esp. since you love it so much and it's been discontinued. it won't hurt to save a couple bucks, either!

I tried finding it on e-bay but they never seem to have this manufacturer/designer.
See, when I first tried it on, I was not really looking for a veil yet. I just happened to be playing around and trying on veils while waiting for one of my BMs and FG who were trying on some dresses!!
I just feel like it was meant to be and it's like now I NEED that veil. I can't believe that a wedding veil has become such a crucial thing to me!

I would buy it and consider myself lucky to have found it! The same thing happened to my friend with her wedding dress. First one she tried on and then it was discontinued. She got a great discount and wouldn't have been able to afford it if she hadn't.
If it's in good condition I say go for it. You're only going to wear it once, right? I wore mine for about 5 hours total!

I ended up buying a veil that was accidentally ripped by the seamstresses. I got it for 1/3 the price and they fixed it for free.
Best wedding deal I ever got! As long as its clean and not damaged in anyway, I would do it.
