Re: would you cut off the cathed. train???

They probably could but that depends on the 'work' on the train.

I don't mean to be insulting but why did you buy a dress that you did not like the train?

I am sure a seamstress could 'shorten' the train maybe to a small chapel size.

Did you check with the seamstress?

I am sure it could be shortened if you have a good seamstress or a dressmaker.

I agree with Lauren. Talk with the person who will be doing your alterations and they should be able to make it happen.

Re: would you cut off the cathed. train???

They probably can 'lift' the detail and use it on a shorter train.

It looks more like a 'chapel' train. They could do a 'sweep' train.

They have so much experience doing alterations. Ask them what options are possible.

BTW: it is a beautiful dress!

Re: would you cut off the cathed. train???

i would shorten it just to be on the safe side. you dont want you bustle to fall.
