WOuld you do it?

WOuld you do it?

I scheduled a make up trial for next month. She said that she would travel to me since I don't have access to a car. I get an FM stating that as of Jan 1, she doesn't travel to the 5 boroughs for trials. I found that out after the trial was scheduled. She said I could take the LIRR and she would meet me there and take me to the train after the trial. Would you do this.

hmm, well, if it's someone that you really wanted to have a trial with, then i say go for it - if you're kind of iffy, then maybe you should see who else is availible before you decide...

That woman should have honored the appt you made with her. Since she recently changed her policy it would have shown good business. And then going forward not make any more travel appts. I'd find someone else. That alone would have made up my mind. It's totally up to you though, it you want her then go for it.

I would. I mean it's not a big deal really. Unless you think its a big deal.

I totally agree-I would call her on it and see what she says? if she isn't willing to keep her word I'd reconsider using her

Part of me says Well, the policy changed. But the other part would be a bit scared...will she be reliable for your wedding day?

If her original agreement to you was to come to you, then I would expect her to honor that.

If you booked her prior to her stating that new clause, and if she said that she would travel to you, then she should. Otherwise, I would probably get someone else. I don't like people that make sudden changes and then renage on a deal.

I would be iffy with someone who changed their policy and won't honor an agreement made prior to the change, but that's just me.

I would go to someone else. Cause she told after the fact you booked her. I Would say to her all well you lost me cause you can't come to me

I don't know if I would go with her.

Yea, I agree with that. HOWEVER, if you fall desperately in love with the way she does you well....then....make sure part of the contract tells you in detail that she would come the day of to your house....you can never be too sure.

I probably wouldn't, but thats just me. If you made those arrangements and booked the trial based on it, and she isnt willing to come through with her committment then she isn't worth it. There are so many vendors out there, Im sure youd be able to find someone else with the same talent if not more.

I think she should accomodate you.

depends on how much I want her.

If I know she is great, heard from people, and that is the look I was going for, than YES definately! As long as she comes to me on the wedding day..

If she is just someone I would want the trial with.. than NO.

I second that! You had a verbal agreement of sorts....she changed her policy but should still hold up her end of the deal!
