Would you do off-the shoulder straps?

Would you do off-the shoulder straps?

Why or why not? I'm getting them added to my dress, but I'm having doubts. Not sure if my arms would feel strapped in. I'm currently detachable off the shoulder, but I don't want my mom to spend the money if I'm just not going to wear it!

Please ladies give me your opinion.

I either like reg straps or none but thats just my opinion. The off the shoulder straps annoy me and feel wrong.

See, I like to move around- A LOT! I don't wanna feel strapped in like a stray jacket.

You think it also looks akward w/ a sweet-heart neckline?

I can't stand off the shoulder! They drive me nuts. Can you try them in the store? It's like either they prevent you from raising your arms or they move around too much. But maybe they won't be like that.

I've never heard anyone say they were comfortable., and they LOOK uncomfortable.

And IDK about the sweetheart necklong, I think that would look strange...

If you like to move around and dont want to be restricted, no straps.. also I find it hard to hug people with them!

I don't mind off the shoulder dresses. Depending on the dress, they can add a little something special to the style.

Can you show us the dress?

The only thing I can say is make sure they are made well and you can move in them. I once knew a bride who popped one of hers off during a jumping photo. WHOOPS.

I tried on a dress with them and I had to keep my arms out of them because they were SO ANNOYING! I would never choose to add them to my dress and im having a sweetheart neckline but im leaving it strapless.. it looks more classy i think.

i was about to buy an off the shoulder dress but sound something else so i def would. i didn't feel like it was restricting me much - then again, i wasn't dancing or hugging people at the same time when i put it on

I was thinking about adding them to my dress but the seamstress said i wouldnt be able to put my arms all the way up. I have a sweetheart neckline and want to add something to the top of the dress because I think I am kind of broad on top but the off the shoulder straps is not the way to go
