I actually have a setting on hold with my jeweler. Its a whole new set with the band. I love my e-ring but I love the new one more lol. Im still keeping the old setting and later on put another diamond in it.

thats a good idea....my thing is that i looooooooove my setting, but it's very high and intricate (scrolling, etc) and it snags on everything and rips everything. I mentioned to DF about having it reset into something smaller and he was a little upset about it bc he bought this one and proposed with this one and it wouldn't be the same. I totally understand where he is coming from (and not for nothing, we picked this out together) but the other setting i want is gorgeous and flatter. I'm guessing it's not going to happen bc i don't want to hurt him, but i'm curious to see what everyone else thinks.

maybe, if I really ws unhappy, but I tend to be extremely sentimental...so it would be very difficult for me

My FH had my ring made and his mom, dad, sister and nan all went to pick it out....for that reason I could never...and I love it just the way it is!

I love my ring ....but for me the sentiment would make me never change it !!!

I brought it up to FH and he seemed hurt a little, like I didnt like my ring but it had nothing to do with that! Im very sentimental also and I LOVE my ring but it has a few scratches on it. I guess polishing it could fix that but I dont see anything wrong with changing the setting!

I LOVE my ring way too much to ever want it changed. Let's say one day I think differently, I would have to get a new wedding band too then, since my band will be custom-made to match my E-ring.

i would never change it, i'm very sentimental & it means a lot to me that fh & my father chose it together with me in mind~

I don't think i would ever change it..it has way to much sentimental value at this point..its the same ring he proposed with and thats how it will stay forever!!!!

i actually had to get a whole new setting. my first setting was an invisible setting and i kept losing diamonds.. it was giving me such horrible anxiety that my fiance took my ring and got me a new setting for our five year anniversary (of being together not engaged!!!) it's still my diamond though.. which is all that matters to me

I love love love my ring now, but in about 10 or 20 years you never know....so if I wanted to I would change and keep the stone. But for now a am soooooo happy so no need to change it!

I could never change my ring!!! I love it way too much. FH went through a lot to find this setting, Including having it shipped from California! It is EXACTLY what I wanted!
