someone crashed your wedding? didnt make a scene but just showed up and drank,danced,ate?? i saw that movie 'wedding crashers' and i thought it was funny but i was trying to think if i would get mad if someone showed up..of course these guys took over the joint but im not sure i would be that mad...would you?maybe if i didnt know about it..i would be mad if it was someone i knew but couldnt or didnt want to invite..

if someone acted like they did in wedding crashers i would be mad- and DOC would have to take care of them I would be mad if it were someone i didnt invite trying to make a scene
but if it were someone say was from another wedding who thought mine was better i would be flattered.
what i dont know wont hurt me either...i will be so busy having fun that i wont pay attention to who is who, i probably wont know everyone there anyway

I think I would be upset. I am planning a wedding and want the people who mean something to me there. I really don't think I would want someone there who wasn't invited.

It was someone we knew & used to be friends with that was not invited. He came anyway

If Vince Vaughn and Owen Wilson showed up, I'd invite them in and have them sit at the head table with us!!
JK...I mean, if I knew about it, I'd be annoyed, but I'd probably not even know because I'm so oblivious sometimes.
For my cousin's wedding, the daughter (and her husband) of a close family friend (who was at the wedding) showed up to the church and invited herself to the CH. My cousin wasn't pissed, but more shocked that someone would just invite themselves.....it was definitely wierd with all of us dressed up and them in business casual clothes.

We had a crasher. 2 actually- one at the ceremony (which you can't do much about) and one at the reception.
The lady at the ceremony didn't cause a scene or anything, but she sat by herself in the back and wore a bright red sweater. So, she's in the background of a bunch of ceremony pics.
***This is the reason why I get so pissed when I hear people say 'I'm going to check out this _____ while they're playing at someone's ceremony'...when you do that, you end up in the bride's pictures.
The reception crasher was the uninvited adult son of one of our guests...his father was VERY rude to my mom, so I am mad about that. And, they gave us $65 as a gift.

OMG - FFIL told us we should do this when we were looking at bands! I couldn't believe it. I told him I was happy basing my decision on recommendations and showcases (and then he went ON and ON about how that isn't enough to base your decision on). ARGH

I would be pissed considering we're paying almost $100 a head. We had to cut our guest list because of the added costs.
I would notice in a heartbeat because we're only having 75-90 people and a good portion of our guest list is close friends and family!!
