I work for a family-owned company (not MY family, but everyone who runs the company is related). I worked for the head of the company's wife (she owns her own branch of it) for a year and we were very close. My boss suggested I invite the family to our wedding - many employees have in the past, sometimes they come, sometimes they don't but they are very 'generous' to their employees.
My only problem is that the total is about 14 extra people being invited. If I invite one, I have to invite them all. I did factor them in to my original count, just have not sent the invites yet, and I haven't gotten too many responses back yet.
My response date is August 5th so I think there is still enough time. What do you guys think?

Ok, how many people are you hoping for bottom line?
I ask this because we are in the same room at Coral House and you do not want to crowd that room. 14 people is alot. If you can afford to and yor room won't be too crowded then go ahead .

if you don't feel close enough to them I wouldn't. me personally I don't feel comfortable inviting my employeers that close to the wedding date. it looks like they were not a first choice, or you don't want them to really coe. JMO
Don't feel pressured to invite them, most people can understand not being able to invite everyone.

My mom doesn't want to have more than 125. We invited 160 (including them) and have had only 6 no's so far (but are expecting a lot more, many out of state). I asked at the CH and 125 is comfortable for that room.

I am very close to some of them and I am quite proud to say that I am one of their 'favorites' too. I don't think they all will come - I think my former boss and her husband and maybe 2 other couples but not all 14 anyway.
