Would you let a baby come to your wedding?

I wouldn't want a baby in my ceremony, but I could go either way with the reception. I would, however, question the sanity of any parent who brought their infant somewhere with blasting music and drunk people until 1am.

I got a RSVP yesterday that said +baby on it! I was so mad when I opened it because this person was late in returning the RSVP by a couple of weeks and this person's bro is bringing an uninvited guest. This person is FH's UNCLE's friend. I called FMIL right away and told her I did not want a baby at the wedding and to please handle this.

I do have 3 young cousins at the wedding, ages 6-10. So my wedding isnt children free. I feel that my cousins have to come to my wedding bc they're close family. I don't want to let this dude bring his baby when he didnt even ask, sent the RSVP late, AND his bro is bringing an uninvited guest.

I am not a mother so I may not understand. Insights please.........

Nope, sorry. I love kids...who are related to me. My nephews and nieces will attend of course but if you didn't address the invitation as to 'The X Family' that doesn't include kids...especially not babies.

If you FMIL gives you any grief about letting the guest bring the kid just remind her that it's her family member who is being rude here, not you.
