would you pick vendor if...

fi was 'fine' with them? or would you wait until he was blown away by someone? (keeping in mind that fi does not want to be involved in planning or to give up any weekends to see vendors once football starts)

You will learn that more often than not, your FH will be FINE with everything.

what is the vendor? If its flowers I would say fine is fine... but DJ or the Hall or Photographer, you should both love.

I would be SOOOO Surprised if FH was blown away by ANY vendor.... he will be blown away if you are. Sorry but most guys couldn't care less about the vendors.

if i liked them and was happy yes - he is just staying neutral so you make a decision so he doesnt have to hear about it -

it's for photographer. he kills me b/c he's one of those guys who doesn't have an opinion on anything until i've made up my mind. then he's either 'fine' with it or completely against it (when it comes to wedding stuff). it's killing me b/c in day-to-day our tastes are soooo similar!

I think if you are blown away and FI is fine then book 'em.

If both of you are just fine then keep looking.

The only vender my FH would be interested in was the strip club his BM is taking him for his bacholar party.

i agree. FH tells me if he hates vendors or ideas - that is about it.

It all depends on how involved they are with the process...my FI was very involved and asked lots of questions and we talked about each vendor that we went to and went with our get feelings

Well, if he's either fine or completely against it, then fine is good!!
IF you love it, then go for it. And if he complains about it later, tell him he said it was fine.

My thoughts exactly!!

I guess I'm lucky...FH was about as opinionated as I was about the vendors!! He actually did care and was very involved in the process!! The only vendors he doesn't care about is the flowers, although he did say 'but they are flowers for OUR wedding, so you have to be happy'. Luckily we have both been in complete agreement about all of our vendors so far!!

If you are not sure keep looking. FH was very involved.. Sometimes that can be a pain too.

to my FI 'fine' means GREAT I LOVE IT, LETS GO.

don't expect too much for the most part they just want us to be happy and they are happy. I've learned this.

If he says he doesn't care then I would say go for it. My FH originally said all he cared about was the DJ and that weddings are all about the bride and I can pick everything but once we got started he had all these opinions and always let me know what he cared about and what he didn't. So if your FH says he doesn't care and it is fine maybe that is what he really means.
